Why do chiropractors use interferential therapy?

When muscles are in pain and spasm, the spinal joints are also restricted in movement. Interferential current therapy supports chiropractic treatment by first relaxing tense muscles. This enhances the effectiveness of the spinal adjustments, which results in longer-lasting pain relief and restoration of movement.
